AbdulRazaq inaugurates Tinubu door-to-door campaign in Kwara

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq inaugurated the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Ilorin on Monday to mobilise support for Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. He urged members to explain government programmes, listen to residents’ concerns and engage peacefully while coordinating with APC structures. Kwara Assembly Speaker and APC governorship candidate Salihu Yakubu Danladi praised AbdulRazaq’s record and called for a campaign based on achievements rather than insults. State APC chairman Sunday Fagbemi said the party aimed to win every elective position in Kwara in 2027.

Trump signs order launching women’s health division at NIH

Donald Trump signed an executive order in Washington on Monday to establish a women’s health division at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a White House task force on the issue. Spearheaded by Melania Trump, the initiative requires the division to be created within 90 days and aims to speed scientific discoveries, expand access to care and modernise healthcare throughout women’s lives. The new division will have a broader mandate than research and will not replace the NIH’s Office of Research on Women’s Health. Priorities include targeted research into diseases affecting women, such as endometriosis, and getting promising treatments to female patients sooner.
