Abia judiciary workers end two-month strike, sign MoU with state government

The Abia State chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) announced the suspension of its strike, which began on March 15, 2026, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abia State Government. JUSUN Chairman Chinedu Ezeh confirmed that the decision took immediate effect after the agreement was ratified by the union congress. The union expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti for his intervention and hopes that all agreements will be fully implemented to strengthen justice delivery in the state.
