Abia pensioners demand publication of gratuity payment beneficiaries, amount paid

The Abia Pensioners’ Forum raised concerns over delays and short payments of entitlements by the Abia State government. In a statement, they requested the publication of names and amounts paid to 2001-2010 gratuity beneficiaries. The Forum also reported that more than half of the pensioners had not been paid one month after payments began, with some receiving less than their full entitlement.
