Abiy, Kindiki push African self-interest over geopolitical loyalties

Kenya and Ethiopia argue that African countries should pursue pragmatic diplomacy driven by their own interests amid a rapidly changing global order. They say permanent alliances have little place in this environment and that transactional dealings with foreign powers could help Africa avoid being played by them.
