Abobo, a municipality north of Abidjan, was severely affected by torrential rains in May and June 2022, leaving 556 households affected. In response, the government allocated 20 million FCFA to assist the population. Thanks to drainage infrastructure and the commitment of young people from the Cosul committee, the situation has improved, with regular clean-ups of canals and bridges to ensure rainwater drainage.
