Nearly 300 households of displaced and returned people in Kanya, Lubero territory, have engaged in market gardening to reduce their dependence on food aid. Since November, they have been growing vegetables such as amaranths, eggplants, and cabbages on land they exploit for free. This initiative, according to Kahembe Alphonse, facilitates access to land and represents a model of resilience in the face of the challenges posed by war.
