Abuja court bars counsel from discussing Tinubu eligibility case on social media

A Federal High Court in Abuja has warned lawyers involved in the case challenging President Bola Tinubu's eligibility for the 2027 presidential election not to discuss the matter in the media. Justice Inyang Ekwo stated that the case, filed by former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), should be addressed in court. The suit seeks to disqualify Tinubu over allegations of submitting a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
