Accept court ruling and shun anti-party activities, APC chieftain tells Senator Karimi

Mohammed Ibrahim, an APC chieftain in Lokoja and former supporter of Senator Sunday Karimi, urged him to accept the Federal High Court ruling removing him as the party’s Kogi West senatorial candidate. The judgment recognized Sunday Bamidele Aro as the winner of the APC primary held in May and ended the legal dispute over Karimi’s attempt to transfer the case to Abuja. Ibrahim said he was withdrawing his support for Karimi, arguing that the party’s interests outweigh those of any individual. He urged the senator and his supporters to back Aro and work for the APC’s success in the district.
