Accused of Rape, Jay-Z Cleared by His Accuser

The complainant, pseudonymed 'Jane Doe', stated on September 24, 2026, before a federal court in Manhattan that she never met or exchanged with Jay-Z and was never assaulted or behaved inappropriately towards him. She admitted that her 2000 accusations, when she was 13, were false and apologized to Shawn Carter and his family. Her new declaration claims she still maintains she was sexually assaulted but that Jay-Z was not the perpetrator. Jay-Z, who had always denied the allegations, has taken legal action against her.
