Activists accuse Western Cape Government of undermining South Africa's stance on Israel

Pro-Palestinian activists protested outside the Western Cape Provincial Parliament, urging the government to end its political and economic ties with Israel. Usuf Chikta, coordinator of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, accused the DA and the provincial government of acting as "collaborators" by refusing to support South Africa's stance at the International Court of Justice. Demonstrations will continue leading up to Nakba Day commemorations on May 16.
