Actualite.cd: “Eastern DRC: James Swan’s first visit to Goma since Kabila’s FRN was created”

MONUSCO chief James Swan arrived in Goma on Monday, November 2, to meet representatives of the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation (FRN), led by former president Joseph Kabila. It is his first visit to the city since the creation of the politico-military movement, which controls North Kivu’s provincial capital. Congolese media also focused on the ongoing adoption of a referendum law and renewed debate over a possible constitutional change.
