ADC Mocks APC Over ‘Rented Crowds, Empty Seats’ at Kaduna Rally

The ADC Presidential Campaign Council criticized the APC’s Northwest rally in Kaduna, saying the 5,000-capacity stadium was sparsely occupied despite attendees being mobilized from across the region. Its media director, Kola Ologbondiyan, alleged that some participants were paid between ₦50,000 and ₦100,000 and that people chanted “Ba mu yi” after leaving the stadium. The ADC also faulted President Bola Tinubu for touting road projects and shifting blame for economic hardship, including pressures following fuel subsidy removal. The council urged the APC to apologize and said voters could reject it in the 2027 election.
