ADC vows to proceed with Sokoto campaign despite intimidation

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it will proceed with its campaign in Sokoto State despite alleged intimidation and obstruction by the state government. National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi warned that Governor Ahmed Aliyu would be held responsible for any violence against opposition members or supporters. The party urged the government to ensure a level playing field and called on security agencies to uphold the Constitution. Abdullahi asked party members and residents to remain peaceful and law-abiding ahead of the 2027 general elections.
