Osun: Adeleke unveils statewide security project using AI and drones

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has launched a statewide security and surveillance project in partnership with Chinese technology company Hefei Shengwen Information Technology Company Limited. The system is expected to use drones, radar, AI-enabled cameras, robotics and Internet of Things technology, with monitoring coordinated through a central Command and Control Centre. It will include a Safe School Project and a mobile app connecting residents to the centre. Planned coverage includes schools, hospitals, banks, farms, mining sites and major transport routes.
