AFCON 2027 Qualifiers: Chelle Names Ndidi, Simon, Iwobi, Bassey and 20 Others for Tanzania Matches

Head coach Éric Chelle has named a 24-man squad, including captain Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon and Ademola Lookman, for Nigeria’s two AFCON 2027 qualifiers against Tanzania. The Super Eagles will host the Taifa Stars on 13 November at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, then play the return match on 17 November at Amman Stadium in Zanzibar. Nigeria is second in Group L and needs to win both games to improve its chances of claiming the group’s sole place at the tournament in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
