Africa: Suspected Hantavirus Outbreak on Cruise Ship Kills 3 - WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported a suspected hantavirus outbreak on the MV Hondius cruise ship, with one confirmed case and five suspected cases. Of the six affected individuals, three have died, including two Dutch passengers. South African authorities are conducting an investigation and contact tracing to identify other potentially exposed individuals.
