According to a new UN Global Risk Report, large-scale war is now seen as the most pressing risk, climbing 16 places since 2024. 36% of respondents believe its effects could impact a significant share of humanity within a year, while 76% expect impacts within seven years. Geopolitical tensions and war now rank among the top ten threats in all regions covered by the survey.

Gridlock: Lagos moves to intensify enforcement along Apapa and Lekki ports.

The Lagos State Government is set to intensify enforcement efforts along the Apapa and Lekki Port corridors following an assessment of the traffic situation.
