African Senate Association: Kandia Camara hands over the presidency to Moroccan Ould Errachid

At the annual conference of the African Senate Association held in Rabat on April 9, 2026, Kandia Camara handed over the presidency to Mohamed Ould Errachid. Under her leadership, the number of member countries nearly doubled in less than two years, incorporating nations from North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, and Southern Africa. The statutory reforms adopted at this event aim to strengthen the organization and clarify the membership procedures for new members.
