Afriland First Bank: 523 billion FCFA in investment securities versus 833 billion FCFA in loans

As of August 31, 2026, Afriland First Bank held 523.12 billion FCFA in investment securities, accounting for 62.8% of its customer loans, which totaled 833.22 billion FCFA. The bank’s total balance sheet was 2,576.23 billion FCFA, with 32.3% of assets in loans and 20.3% in securities. The loan portfolio is mainly short-term, representing 54.9%, and includes 112.89 billion FCFA in receivable accounts. The bank also has 232.33 billion FCFA in interbank operations, with 110.34 billion at term and 121.99 billion at sight.
