Babacar Niang, known as 'Mbaye Délégué', surrendered to the police in Wakhinane-Nimzatt after being actively sought for over two weeks. He is suspected of fatally stabbing his friend Sakhir Diouf during a fight on August 12, 2023, in Guédiawaye. His surrender was facilitated by family members who collaborated with investigators to convince him to end his flight.
