André-Frank Zambo Anguissa announced his international retirement at the age of 30, after being a key player for the Cameroon national team. Trained at Coton Sport de Garoua, he joined the national team in 2017 and participated in two World Cups and several Africa Cup of Nations. With over 67 caps and five goals, his departure marks a turning point for the Indomitable Lions, who will need to replace him in midfield.
