After tensions in the Socialist Party: Alioune Ndoye issues a summons

Alioune Ndoye, mayor of Dakar-Plateau and secretary general of the PS departmental union, has issued a summons against Louis Thomas Ciss to identify the author of a document accusing militants of Dakar-Plateau of planning violence. The document, presented as from the Secretariat of the PS Regional Union, circulated on June 11, 2026. Louis Thomas Ciss, who shared the text, acknowledged relaying it but denied authorship and refuted the existence of violence plans. Ndoye claims the accusations are baseless and aims to protect the party's image.
