After the Attack on an Eurofighter, Italy Discreetly Moves Its Military Aircraft to Saudi Arabia

Italy has moved several military aircraft from Taif in Saudi Arabia after an Eurofighter was damaged during an attack on King Fahd airbase. Eurofighters and C-130Js have left the base, while a Gulfstream CAEW, used for surveillance, was not present at the time of the transfer. The Italian military presence in the region is a result of cooperation with several Gulf states and does not indicate a general withdrawal.
