General Bank, Afriland and BGFI commit to structuring and mobilizing a loan of 200 billion FCFA for Socadel

The Cameroonian Electricity Company (Socadel) signed a mandate with General Bank of Cameroon, Afriland First Bank, and BGFIBank Cameroon to structure and syndicate a loan of 200 billion FCFA. This amount aims to strengthen Socadel's cash flow and restructure its debts. General Bank of Cameroon will act as the lead arranger, while Afriland and BGFIBank will be co-arrangers. The funds will not be immediately available and will depend on credit approvals and finalization of documentation.
