Cameroon's agricultural growth fell to 1.1% in 2025, down from 5.2% in 2024, according to the National Institute of Statistics. This slowdown is mainly attributed to a 3.1% contraction in industrial and export agriculture. In contrast, subsistence agriculture grew by 3.7%. The agricultural value added reached 3,970.2 billion FCFA in 2025, accounting for approximately 11.5% of the nominal GDP.
