Cameroon - Douala and Yaoundé-Nsimalen Airports: TAXIGO Project Suspended After Strike Notice

The General Manager of Cameroon Airports, Thomas Owona Assoumou, ordered the suspension of the TAXIGO project at Douala and Yaoundé-Nsimalen airports following a meeting at the Ministry of Transport and a strike notice from transport union syndicates. The decision was communicated in a letter on October 9, 2026, based on the conclusions of that day's meeting. The suspension remains in effect until further notice.
