An Air France flight, number 378, was diverted to Canada after U.S. authorities raised concerns about a passenger's potential exposure to Ebola. The flight, scheduled to arrive at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport on May 20, 2026, was rerouted to Montreal–Trudeau International Airport. A Customs and Border Protection spokesperson stated that a passenger traveling from the Democratic Republic of Congo should not have boarded due to entry restrictions related to the Ebola outbreak.
