Air France has confirmed it is complying with new Israeli restrictions that limit which crew members can operate flights to and over Israel based on their nationality. These restrictions, reported by Israeli media and Mediapart, ban nationals from 31 Muslim-majority countries, including Algeria, Tunisia, Iran, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Niger, from entering Israeli airspace. The directive followed an incident on September 30 where an Omani co-pilot allegedly attempted to hijack a Flydubai flight to attack Ben Gurion Airport.
