Air Peace reacts to disrupted London–Lagos flight after bird strike

Nigerian airline operator Air Peace confirmed that a London–Lagos flight was disrupted on Friday due to a bird strike. The incident occurred on the service from Gatwick Airport to Murtala Muhammed International Airport, prompting the grounding of the aircraft for inspection. Affected passengers were contacted and provided with alternative arrangements. Nollywood actress Funke Akindele expressed her frustration over the situation, stating that passengers, including elderly individuals, were stranded at the airport with inadequate communication.
