The Ivorian sections of the federation L’Air et Moi (FAEM) and the Climate Youth Network received a sensor on September 12, 2026, to measure fine particles in the air in Côte d'Ivoire, where 12,000 people die each year due to pollution. Abdoul-Aziz Kéita, coordinator of FAEM, emphasized the importance of this scientific tool to make pollution visible. The sensor, developed in collaboration with AirCarto and AtmoSud, is intended for field use and promotes access to data.
