AIRP: 11,849 health products declared, a quarter deemed high risk

The national declaration campaign for health products, conducted by the Ivorian Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority (Airp) from October 2024 to December 2025, recorded 11,849 products and 1,140 establishments. Among these products, 2,639 were classified as high risk, with 1,969 being skin lightening products. Dr. Assane Coulibaly, the DG of Airp, emphasized the importance of this campaign for cleaning up the sector and strengthening regulation.
