Ajibade begins recovery after successful surgery

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has begun recovering after successful surgery for a fractured fibula. She sustained the injury during Nigeria’s second-leg match against Comoros in the second round of 2028 Olympic Games qualifying and was substituted in the 28th minute at Ikenne. The Paris Saint-Germain forward underwent surgery last week. PSG has not announced a return-to-play timeline, and Ajibade is expected to focus on rehabilitation.
