Akwa Ibom: Police arraign social media influencer over false security alarm

The Akwa Ibom State Police command arraigned social media influencer Akaninyene Udo, known as 'AK Philo', for posting a threatening message with an image of an armed bandit captioned 'Eket get ready for us'. Commissioner of Police CP Baba Azare stated that spreading false security alerts is a criminal offense. Additionally, police re-arrested Musa Idris, a suspected receiver and distributor of stolen phones, with 34 Android phones linked to robberies within and outside the state.
