Akwa Ibom records maiden international flight as Uyo-Accra route opens

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, announced the commencement of international flight operations from Accra to Uyo, describing it as a major step towards boosting economic activities in the state. The new route is expected to enhance tourism, trade, and regional connectivity. Eno also revealed the creation of a dedicated Ministry of Aviation and Airport Development, with Engr. Uwem Ekanem appointed to oversee the ministry.
