Al Ahli beat Machida Zelvia to retain Asian Champions League title

Al Ahli won the Asian Champions League by defeating Machida Zelvia 1-0 after extra time, becoming the first club in over two decades to retain the title. The decisive goal was scored by Feras Al Buraikan in the 96th minute, in front of 58,984 spectators at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah. Despite being reduced to 10 men with Zakaria Hawsawi's red card in the second half, Al Ahli successfully defended their title, qualifying for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup and the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup.
