Alarm code of sinking govt — Atiku's aide hits Tinubu over N3.3trn electricity fund

Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, criticized the Federal Government's N3.3 trillion electricity intervention fund as politically motivated. He noted that this initiative was first introduced in 2024 during the EndBadGovernance protests and has resurfaced ahead of the 2027 elections. Shaibu claimed the government uses this fund as a 'panic button' in response to increasing political pressure.
