Algeria: Four Moroccans Accused of Trying to Disrupt Legislative Elections – La Nouvelle Tribune

On July 13, 2026, Algerian authorities announced the arrest of six people in Tizi Ouzou, including four Moroccans in irregular status, suspected of belonging to the Movement for the Self-Determination of Kabylie (MAK). The arrests come amid broken diplomatic relations between Algeria and Morocco since August 2021.
