Algeria: Hotel Closed in Algiers After Desecration of National Flag – La Nouvelle Tribune

The Algerian Ministry of Tourism ordered the immediate closure of the Legacy Luxury Hotel in Hydra, Algiers, after a video showed the national flag placed on the floor during a private event organized by the agency Skytok. Minister Houria Meddahi announced the measure, along with the withdrawal of the operating permit. An investigation committee led by the ministry's inspector general has been dispatched to the scene to shed light on the circumstances of the incident.
