Algeria: Residents of Bordj Tahar Return to Their Village Devastated by Flames

In Bordj Tahar, northeastern Algeria, violent fires have resulted in at least 12 deaths and dozens of injuries. The wilayas of Jijel, Béjaïa, and Tizi Ouzou are particularly affected. Residents are inspecting their ravaged homes and trying to salvage what they can, while 54 people are hospitalized for burns, six of whom are in serious condition.
