Algeria: Riyad Mahrez finally signs with his new club!

At 35, Riyad Mahrez, former captain of Algeria, is set to join Al-Shamal in Qatar after leaving Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia. He is expected to sign soon and will reunite with fellow Algerians Baghdad Bounedjah, Omar Rafik, and Nassim Benaissa. This move may be one of his final major contracts, allowing him to continue his career in the Gulf. Mahrez, currently free agent, has been following a training program in Dubai while awaiting confirmation of his transfer.
