Algeria: Selected for the U17 CAN qualifiers, an OM youth player ultimately prefers France

Elies Diallo, a 16-year-old right winger from the OM training center, has been selected by France for a U17 Bleuets training camp, thus declining an invitation from Algeria for the North African Football Union tournament. Although he has chosen to represent France for now, Diallo remains attached to Algeria, having participated in several U16 stages with the Greens. Algeria will start its U17 CAN qualifiers against Libya on September 26.
