Alia approves N378bn National Food City Investment in Benue

The Benue State Government has approved an investment agreement valued at approximately N378 billion for the establishment of the National Food City Project at Ogyoma Akpa in Otukpo Local Government Area. The project is expected to generate over 15,000 direct jobs and cover more than 30,000 hectares of land, transforming agricultural produce into finished products for local consumption and export. About 40,000 farmers are expected to participate by supplying commodities such as rice, cassava, and maize.
