Alia's former allies, Benue APC chieftains declare support for Akume

A group of political heavyweights in the APC in Benue State, including former loyalists of Governor Hyacinth Alia, has pledged loyalty to Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, as the 2027 elections approach. Led by Emmanuel Jime, the delegation visited Akume in Abuja. Akume thanked the chieftains for their support, urging them to remain united and focused on the state's development, and called for continued support for President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
