Alison-Madueke: Nigeria's anti-graft agencies may not have carried out proper investigation - Frank Tie-Tie

Legal practitioner Frank Tie-Tie said Nigeria's anti-graft agencies may not have carried out their duties properly during the trial of former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke. Tie-Tie made the assertion on Wednesday on Arise Television after a UK court cleared Alison-Madueke of all charges. He argued that her luxurious lifestyle does not mean bribery and that the jury found the prosecution failed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt. Tie-Tie also suggested that Nigerian investigators might have made mistakes in the process.
