Alleged cybercrime: DSS suspends Sowore’s case until after 2027 polls

The Department of State Services (DSS) has instructed its private counsel, Akinolu Kehinde, to suspend the alleged cyberbullying case against African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore until after the 2027 presidential election. This decision followed a meeting between DSS Director-General Tosin Ajayi and top officials from the agency's Legal Directorate. The suspension aims to allow Sowore to fully participate in the elections, as the case has been in court for nearly a year.
