Alleged extortion: FUOYE suspends deputy dean, SUG President

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has suspended three officials for illegally collecting money from students. The Director of Educational Technology, Olanrewaju Ogunjobi, is accused of authorizing and collecting 1,000 naira per student without approval. The Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Banji Rildwan Olaleye, assisted in the unauthorized collection. The SUG President, James Iyanuoluwa Adio, is implicated for receiving 700,000 naira into his personal account. An investigation committee was set up.
