AMAC Staff Killing: Police launch probe

The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has ordered a thorough investigation into the killing of Mr. Oladipupo Akinola, an Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) revenue officer, shot at NITEL Junction, Wuse 2, Abuja. The incident occurred during a routine enforcement operation targeting vehicles without valid operational permits, where Akinola was allegedly shot by an individual in Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) uniform during an altercation. The police have initiated a discreet probe to identify those involved and urged the public to provide useful information.
