Amaechi felt coalition preferred Obi, threatened to leave - ADC spokesman

Bolaji Abdullahi, spokesman for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alleged that former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, threatened to leave the opposition coalition over concerns that the leadership favored Peter Obi. Abdullahi stated that Amaechi confronted the coalition's national chairman regarding this perceived preferential treatment. He also revealed that Obi was granted significant influence within the party structure, which resulted in Osita Chidoka losing the position of National Organising Secretary he had been vying for before Obi joined the coalition.
