An American accused of hitting his mother with a bat because she refused to cook

DeAngelo Billingsley, a 27-year-old man, is accused of assaulting his mother in Memphis, Tennessee, by hitting her in the head with a baseball bat during a dispute over meal preparation. The victim, seriously injured, was hospitalized in critical condition. Billingsley was arrested and faces charges of attempted second-degree murder and domestic violence.
