Analysis of the march initiated this Tuesday by the C64 coalition in the DRC

The Article 64 Coalition (C64) organized a peaceful march on September 15, 2026, to oppose any potential changes to the Constitution and to denounce a possible third term for President Félix Tshisekedi. In Kinshasa, gatherings took place at the Limete Exchange and Bandalungwa, while in other cities like Matadi and Lubumbashi, law enforcement dispersed protesters. In Kananga, tear gas was used and several activists were arrested, while the march was able to proceed in Bandundu despite authorities' prohibitions.
